Vision and Mission


Vision

Norzagaray College – Community Extension Services (NC-CES) envisions providing inclusive and sustainable community service programs that uplift the quality of life of individuals and families through collaborative and participatory efforts.

Mission

Norzagaray College – Community Extension Services (NC-CES) is committed to:

  1. Deliver responsive community services that address the needs of the community through hard work, compassion, and dedication.
  2. Foster a culture of volunteerism by developing committed faculty, staff, and students engaged in meaningful community involvement.
  3. Promote collaborative partnerships with government and non-government organizations to support the development of underprivileged communities.

General Policies


  1. Community Extension Services is institutional in nature; however, each department or office is encouraged to support and actively participate in all activities or programs organized by the Extension Services Office.
  2. Colleges or departments may initiate and/or host extension programs or activities, either independently or in collaboration with other schools, departments, or barangays within the community.
  3. Any department or office intending to organize an extension program must coordinate with the Community Extension Services Office to ensure proper communication, implementation, monitoring, documentation, and evaluation.
  4. All programs or activities conducted by the Community Extension Services Office, or by any other department or office, must be properly implemented, documented, and evaluated.

Service Trust


The NC-CES shall pursue extension service programs, activities, and projects that will enable communities, particularly the depressed and underserved, to achieve sustainable development through:

  1. Education and Literacy. Enhancing community education through tutorial services, literacy campaigns, and values formation.
  2. Poverty Alleviation and Livelihood Development. Providing skills training, entrepreneurship support, and financial literacy programs.
  3. Inclusive Development and Social Protection. Focuses on empowering marginalized, underrepresented, and vulnerable sectors of society by promoting equitable access to basic services, strengthening social safety nets, and fostering inclusive community participation in development processes.
  4. Health and Well-being. Conducting mental health awareness and sanitation initiatives, and participating in health and wellness programs.
  5. Environmental Protection and Disaster Resilience. Promoting sustainability through tree-planting, waste management, and disaster preparedness training.
  6. Technology Transfer and Innovation. Sharing research-based solutions to agricultural, industrial, and technological challenges.
