ABSTRACT
People have always loved the idea of traveling, whether it is for business, vacation, or leisure. Tourism is one of the many industries that suffered during this time of the Covid-19 Pandemic. As tourism starts to operate again in Doña Remedios Trinidad, many local and outside residents came to visit. Puning Cave, Verdivia Falls, and Secret Falls are to name a few out of 100 or even more tourist spots that can be visited in Doña Remedios Trinidad. A qualitative approach was used through interviews with ten (10) local residents and tourism workers of Barangay Bayabas, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan. The responses were coded to form themes. Results revealed responsible management from the residents and tourists as an intervention for sustainable ecotourism. Residents put up small businesses as added service to tourists. Safety and security are available through barangay tanods (local peace officers). Support from the local government and NGOs is suggested.
