The Norzagaray College – Community Extension Services and the College of Hospitality Management, in partnership with Barangay Partida, successfully conducted the Livelihood and Skills Enhancement Program featuring Hydroponics & Urban Gardening last February 21, 2026 at the Covered Court, Barangay Partida, Norzagaray, Bulacan.
This initiative, held in preparation for the planting activities under the DILG HAPAG Program (Halina’t Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay), equipped participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in sustainable and space-efficient food production.
Community members actively engaged in:
Introduction to hydroponic systems
Demonstration of proper planting techniques
Sustainable and cost-effective gardening practices
Collaborative discussions on food security and livelihood opportunities
Through this program, participants gained valuable skills that contribute to household food security, environmental sustainability, and community resilience.
Together, we continue to cultivate not only crops—but empowerment, partnership, and progress.
