The EduKalEdad: Elder Enrichment Program of Norzagaray College โ Community Extension Services successfully conducted Session 8: Entrepreneurship.
Our senior learners actively participated in:
Guided soap-making demonstration and hands-on production
Basic costing and pricing computation
Discussion on simple packaging and product presentation
Understanding profit, expenses, and small-scale budgeting
Through this livelihood-focused session, participants not only learned a practical skill but also gained knowledge on how to transform simple products into potential income-generating opportunities. The activity reinforced financial literacy, creativity, and entrepreneurial confidence among our elders.
The session was also graced by Hon. Edsel Mendoza, BOT Member and Chairman of the Committee on Education, who delivered an inspiring message of support for senior citizens.
Lifelong learning continues โ now with livelihood and sustainability in mind.
