Months after completing the EdukalEdad (Education for Elders) Program, the graduates of Batch 1 and Batch 2 gathered once again for a heartwarming Kumustahan at Norzagaray College.
The activity served as an opportunity to reconnect with our senior learners, hear their inspiring stories, and learn how they have applied the knowledge and skills they gained from the program in their daily lives. Their experiences, challenges, and aspirations have become valuable insights in strengthening our commitment to lifelong learning for older adults.
As part of the sustainability initiative of the EdukalEdad Program, Norzagaray College proudly introduced EdukalEdad PLUS+ (EdukalEdad Enhancement Program)โan enhanced extension program designed to empower senior citizens beyond the classroom by equipping them with practical livelihood and entrepreneurial skills that promote productivity, self-reliance, and active aging.
The enhancement program will provide hands-on training in:
Food Processing
Household Product Development
Agriculture-Based Livelihood
Arts and Crafts
Digital and Home-Based Enterprise
Through EdukalEdad PLUS+, Norzagaray College reaffirms its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for senior citizens by promoting lifelong learning, sustainable livelihood development, entrepreneurship, and active community participation. The program seeks to empower older adults with practical skills that will enable them to remain productive, self-reliant, and engaged members of the community.
