Norzagaray College conducted a consultative meeting with Angat Hydro Power Corporation (AHPC) and the San Miguel Global Power Foundation (SMGPF) to discuss a potential partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the implementation of the Tulong-Dunong Educational Support Program for the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) of Norzagaray College.
The proposed partnership aims to provide educational assistance to qualified IP students. Under the proposed program, AHPC/SMGPF will provide educational support, including allowances for transportation, communication, books, and uniforms, and will conduct semestral โKumustahanโ sessions to monitor the scholarsโ welfare.
Meanwhile, Norzagaray College will ensure continuous monitoring of the studentsโ attendance, academic performance, and overall well-being through counseling services, career guidance, regular monthly โKumustahanโ sessions, and timely reporting of concerns to AHPC/SMGPF.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of Norzagaray College, Angat Hydro Power Corporation, and the San Miguel Global Power Foundation to expanding access to quality education and empowering Indigenous Peoples through meaningful educational opportunities and collaborative partnerships.
