Sweet treats and livelihood skills came together during the EdukalEdad PLUS+ session on Pastillas Making.
Our senior learners learned the proper preparation and shaping of pastillas and practiced wrapping and packaging their finished products. Basic costing and possible selling opportunities were also discussed as part of the livelihood component of the activity.
Beyond learning a traditional food-making skill, participants explored how simple homemade products can become potential sources of additional income.
