College of Hospitality Management General Assembly 2026

𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄, 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 🤝

𝐎𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐇𝐌) 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 at the Atty. Amador Dela Merced Sports Complex, bringing together all Hospitality Management students for an afternoon of orientation, updates, and meaningful engagement.

The program officially began with the National Anthem, Prayer, and NC Hymn, followed by the Welcome Remarks of 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐒. 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐚, who warmly welcomed all CHM students to the new academic year. During her address, she discussed the department's Retention Policy, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence, discipline, professionalism, and the responsibilities that come with being future hospitality professionals.

The assembly also featured the presentation of the 𝐇𝐌𝐒𝐨𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, showcasing the department's milestones and achievements. Students were formally introduced to the HMSoc Officers and the dedicated CHM Faculty Members, strengthening the connection between student leaders, faculty, and the entire CHM community. The program was made even more engaging through intermission performances that added energy and excitement to the gathering.

As another academic year begins, may this General Assembly serve as a reminder of our shared commitment to growth, service, and excellence. Together, let us continue to uphold the values of the College of Hospitality Management and strive to become competent, compassionate, and globally competitive hospitality professionals.
